Headquartered in Orange County, CA
Ironman Tennis was created to bring high level tennis players together. Many of our members competed in junior circuits, high school, and/or collegiate tennis.
At the core of Ironman Tennis is playing tennis at a very fast pace. We compete seriously in USTA leagues, local tournaments, and hit socially to create lifetime friendships. If you can keep up and have a great attitude, we encourage you to join our tennis family.
We welcome new members who are serious about hitting on a weekly basis, can keep up with NTRP 5.0+ level players, and hit continuously for 2-3+ hours.
(NTRP 5.0: This player has good shot anticipation and frequently has an outstanding shot or attribute around which a game may be structured. This player can regularly hit winners or force errors off of short balls and can put away volleys, can successfully execute lobs, drop shots, half volleys, overhead smashes, and has good depth and spin on most second serves.)
This is a very high cardio intensive and physically demanding group. Please note if you have been confirmed as a new member, please try to come out within the first few weeks to avoid becoming inactive. We try to maintain mostly active members in our group.
Please note some requests will be declined based on your current skill level description or incomplete profiles. If you have been declined, please consider joining nearby tennis groups. For confirmed new members, we regret those who are unable to keep up with the level of play may be dropped.
If you are interested in joining our group, please send us an email or visit us here. We hit throughout Orange County, but mainly in Irvine and near MIssion Viejo.
